We want to tell you a bit out our Jacksonville Psychologist, Dr. Justin D’Arienzo. Following a six year tour in the Navy he decided to set up a private psychology practice in North East Florida based on his family and his wife’s family residing in Jacksonville, Florida. Following the Navy, he briefly worked at Brooks Rehabilitation Hospital (Beach and University) while he built the D’Arienzo Psychological Group moonlighting at his practice.

Dr. D’Arienzo found himself at home joining the Ponte Vedra Beach Rotary Club and reconnecting with his former undergraduate professors at the University of North Florida. The practice began focusing on military members and their families. Based on Dr. D’Arienzo’s connections with the Navy and the Jacksonville Naval Air Station and the Mayport Naval Station being in close proximity, military members flooded D’Arienzo Psychological Group.

As the practice grew, a mental health counselor and two licensed clinical social workers were added to the practice. Dr. D’Arienzo began to expand his practice in forensic psychology in family law, personal injury, and mitigation services as well as couples counseling to meet the growing demands. Later, an attorney specializing in parenting coordination was added to the practice to assist Dr. D’Arienzo with his mediation and parenting coordination cases.

As of 2016, the D’Arienzo Psychological Group focuses on forensic psychology, marital therapy, custody evaluations, parenting coordination, treating depression and anxiety, employee evaluations, and providing counseling to children, adolescents, and families.

D’Arienzo Psychological Group, established in 2008, has become a well known and respected private practice treating individuals beyond north east Florida; however, our general catchment area is typically Jacksonville, Jacksonville Beach, Orange Park, Arlington, and Ponte Vedra Beach. Our mental health experts can be found running the Jacksonville River Run, sailing on the St. Johns River, surfing at Jacksonville Beach, shopping at the Town Center, and supporting local vendors at the Riverside Arts Market. We are excited about the Jacksonville Ikea opening blocks from our office.
