We are excited to introduce Ms. Wendy Monger, teacher and Jacksonville tutoring specialist and academic coach, as the newest addition to D’Arienzo Psychology. Ms. Monger has an Educator Certificate from the State of Florida Department of Education in grades one through six. She graduated from the University of North Florida with a B.A. in Elementary Education, Summa Cum Laude. She has advanced her education in obtaining her Gifted Certification, Responsive Classroom Certification, Exceptional Student Education Training and Managing Challenging Student Behaviors.
Ms. Monger has lived in Jacksonville for 26 years with her two children. She has joined D’Arienzo Psychology as a licensed educator and tutoring specialist. She has taught in both the public and private school systems in Duval and St. Johns counties. More specifically, she has taught at Mill Creek Elementary, Cunningham Creek Elementary, San Jose Episcopal Day School and Hendricks Avenue Elementary.
One of Ms. Monger’s talents is recognizing each individual students learning style and being able to communicate and create lessons enabling each child to succeed. She goes about her teaching in a caring and sensitive manner, inspiring her students to learn and do their very best. She motivates them and develops their self-confidence by focusing on and recognizing their progress and accomplishments. She also makes learning a “fun” experience.
Ms. Monger lives in the San Jose area, where she enjoys bike riding, walking on the beach, playing tennis and spending time with family and friends. She looks forward to working with your child and ensuring his/her academic growth while providing them with the best learning experience possible.
